Police have issued an "urgent" appeal for the public to help trace a man who went missing from Watford today (April 23).

This evening the force said 58-year-old Shaun was last seen near Vicarage Road at 1.30pm.

Update: Police have confirmed he has now been found safe and well.

He is described as having blonde hair and was last seen wearing a blue shirt, black jeans and white trainers. He may also be wearing a cap.

Officers are growing "increasingly concerned" for his welfare, a spokesperson said.

They added: "If you have seen Shaun since he was reported missing or have information about where he has been, report information online at herts.police.uk/report, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat at herts.police.uk/contact or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting ISR 568 of 23/04/25.

"If you believe you are with Shaun now or have seen him in the last few moments, please call 999 immediately."
