Humanity only religion in the world, at present it is called Hindu: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat

If the society is united, no one would look down upon India, says RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.

New Delhi: Rashtriya Swamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Thursday that the gap in the society increases live in differences. On the other hand, the feeling of belonging increases if there is a principle of unity in the society.

Speaking at the 83rd death anniversary programme of Master Deenanath Mangeshkar, he added that there is one religion in the world and that is Humanity, which is called Hindustva. “When we live in mutual differences, the gap in society keeps increasing. However, when we follow the principle of unity, the feeling of belongingness increases. There is only one religion in the world and that is humanity. This is what we call Hindutva”.

‘We all saw what happened in Pahalgam’

“We all saw what happened in Pahalgam the day before yesterday. In a terrorist attack, tourists were shot dead after they were asked about their religion. But no Hindu would ever do this. If we were all united, no one would look down upon us,” he observed.

He added, “We are all upset due to the terror attack. There is anger in our hearts. If we want to get rid of demons, then we should have the power of eight arms. Ravana was not ready to change his mind. Ram had to kill Ravana because there was no other way. We learned a lesson in 1962”.

Pointing out the anger among the people over the killing of around 26 people in Pahalgam, he added. “There is anger and expectation, too, after the Pahalgam attack. It seems that the expectation will be fulfilled this time. When our society is united, then no one will be able to look at us with a crooked eye. If someone looks at us with a crooked eye, then their eyes will be removed”.

“It is expected that this time we will give a strong reply to this. Hatred and enmity are not our nature but getting killed is also not our nature. A powerful person should be non-violent. The powerless do not need it. And then if there is power, it should be shown at such a time,” the RSS chief added.
