Police: Victim left injured after shooting in Anderson

ANDERSON, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Anderson Police Department reports responding to a shooting on Friday after one victim was left injured.
Officers said they responded to Caughlin Avenue shortly after 11 p.m.
One victim was found with a gunshot wound to the abdomen area and was taken to AnMed Hospital for treatment, police said.
Officers report they are following strong leads to the suspect’s identity.
Police said the shooting is not connected to another shooting that happened around the same time that left one victim dead.
