In 2024, Georgia exported 15,702 tons of animal feed products—including both farm and pet food—earning $7.62 million. However, this marked a significant decline compared to 2023, with export value down by 34.4% and volume by 23.1%. After steady growth until 2022, exports have been on a declining trend for the past two years.

The majority of Georgian animal feed exports went to Armenia and Azerbaijan, with smaller volumes sent to other countries:

Exports were also made to Moldova, Spain, and Vietnam in smaller quantities.
In January–April 2025, Georgia exported 4,407 tons of animal feed worth $2.29 million, slightly lower than the same period in 2024.
Animal Feed Imports to Georgia
Despite exports, Georgia remains a net importer of animal feed. In 2024, the country imported 34,519 tons of animal feed, valued at $47 million—a slight 0.4% increase in value and a 2.6% decrease in volume compared to 2023. This suggests that feed prices have slightly increased.
